"The only thing missing is to figure out how to distribute resources. We have plenty of food, water, shelter for everyone - but we don't have unlimited amounts. There is not enough water (yet!) for everyone to have a swimming pool - and until we raise a new generation to realize how wasteful it is, we WILL need some method to allocate resources. I propose that a numerical rather than intuitive system is ideal. Not "money" which you have to work to earn, but "value" which you are allowed to utalize. A fixed amount given freely per person per month, which does not roll over, cannot be transfered or legally owed. Thus, we can keep the rule of supply and demand (things are worth more when they're harder to produce - house > carrot) without all the baggage of debt and slavery that money in its current form implies."
