Scientific methods seem to be converting virtual realities that should remain fantasies into reality, much like television is converting reality into virtual reality. Further, the current "scientific method" being followed by mass agriculture, industrial agriculture, for instance, is precisely what has become a major problem for the sustainability of our soils, for the sustainability of plant and seed bio-diversity, and the sustainability of the very nutrients in our current crops that once were higher with local traditional/organic farming methods, as well as their yield – not to mention GMOs, the most rotten of the bad apples within the scientific method."
