I am cautious of 8 because the scientific method certainly does not have a common point of reference across all languages and cultures. It is as much constructed from modern Western discourse and metaphor as psychology or philosophy or politics. One cannot merely choose to overlook that! Finally, 9 is troublesome because appropriate need has not been specified."
