"Attempting to change a status quo through superior logic, understanding and morality, is a difficult but essential task. We are at a point in humanity's history where we must say no to the juggernaut of frenzied consumption that drives a false aspirational future for humanity. Humans should be aspirational, but with an aspiration to achieve the goals outlined in the charter, not personal, religious or national gain. We have fought enough wars for those insanities. Things will change and arguments for alternative approaches for humanity's future will be needed. The charter is a good opening salvo with which to launch those approaches."
