"I read and write science fiction and have many conversations with a friend that does that same and one thing we talk about is the end of money. And we both agree that it could be now. Many people believe money makes the world go round but in truth it is slowing us down. I am quite convinced that it is inevitable that money loses it's leading roll. Before too long we will embark on space exploration and travel. In such an environment money is pointless. Many thinkers have noted that societies that use a money system wind up destroying their environment. Money quickly become bigger and more important than life. I have managed to live off very little money in my life and it has given me much freedom to do as I please. With today's monitory world I certainly could use more money but my time is too valuable to trade it for a bit of added luxury. The sooner we drop our money addiction the better or near future will look. Steve Howard"
