"It is not as if these principles are astoundingly original. But, the fact that modern society merely seems to glaze over these self-evident truths, acknowledging the obvious validity of the principles but simply refusing to act in any manner even remotely resemblant of a realizaion of the idea, makes such principles, at the very least, all the more appealing. If modern societal structures cannot even perpetuate a societal change meant to actualize these self-evident principles of human equality and rid the world of the unnecessary limitations imposed by money and its arbitrary measure of value, then it is also a self-evident truth that those structures failed humanity with the gravest of grievances. This charter, and its founder, acknowledge these failings and propose a marvelously sensible, yet seemingly radical, alternative: eschew this failed system and rise from its green ashes with a renewed faith in the goodness of humanity and without the chains of monetary servitude."
