"John Fowles' The Aristos (first published 1964) contains far sighted views of some of these principles, for example "Unemployment is the nightmare of the capitalist society, Employment is the nightmare of the cybernetic society" and he proposed a New Education to fill the gaps. Jonathon Porritt's (Capitalism as if the Wold Matters) advocacy of a form of capitalism that balances five forms of capital, Human, Society, Natural, Manufactured and Financial plus Spiritual would also appear to fit and provides practical solutions - a blueprint for the way ahead?"
