"I fully endorse the intellectual, technological and emotional advancement of the human race. I feel that this charter is a positive step in realising a world where human beings will cease to be their own oppressors. The first step in envisaging a world where humanity lives within its means and to its full potential. We need only peer into the unprecedented level of destruction, waste, control without true justification and abject poverty that the 'global economic system' perpetuates and encourages to see the alternative. That alternative is, undeniably, the complete destruction of the human civilisation and this planet as we know it. This charter is but a glimmering hope, we must do so much more. "
