"I hesitate to agree with number 8, only because what constitutes "logic and best available knowledge" has not historically always been reliable, even with the scientific method. Ultimately the individual must have options and consent. If that is removed then the best available knowledge might someday re-fluoridate the drinking water, or something equally rash and ignorant. I'm trying to point out that conventional wisdom is always subject to being wrong over time or in certain context, and occasionally solutions and technical advancement come through hunches and divination... Sometimes the best idea isn't to strap on our hard hats and build impossible feats of architecture. Sometimes the environment REALLY needs an unconventional thinker to hold everybody up with an indistinct passive objection. ...but all things considered, I feel the implications of all the above statements would resolve these concerns by recognizing human beings as part of nature, not documents."

"The only problems with the success of this right way for the World to exist I can see are two: convincing those with 'power' that they have to concede that power and convincing those that live in luxury (also power) to come about livable luxury in another way. Some will say this idea is pure Socialism and, in some ways, it is. For this to actually work the entire World must be behind it and it WILL require Leaders.
