"Very idyllic but it does hint at a better furute. I find it difficult to see the transition between what we have now and what is really the a better proposed future. We still need people to make these machines, the look after people in hospitals, to provide some kind of law and order ... yes probably the majority of crimes are financial related but there are abuse and other crimes which are less so. Yes I realise a lot of this is stress driven by the system we live with, however not all"

"Where fear of change, and the resultant capacity to rationalise extreme measures, can be a daunting prospect, it is important to note that the evidence points to cooperation as the most valuable of our survival instincts. Ask yourself one simple question: if required to volunteer 2 or 3 hours a week in service to your community to ensure sufficient food, shelter, power, and care for all, would you refuse on the basis that you see no personal profit in it? Remove competition as the primary motivating force in society, remove money, and outmoded notions of value as something external that must be justified by hoarding more than you need at the expense of others; replace them with cooperation, and an acknowledgement that the only significant value is inherent in our very being, not external to it, and we truly could reach the stars. Turn away from fossil fuels, and towards local community-based power generation using water-mills, & windmills - is this so hard to imagine?"

"I hope that this is possible. It could be if our emphasis moves away from individual power and control into a desire for unity and the common good. It's a lot to take in. The idea that the world could change so much is perhaps outside what many of us are comfortable with or can even imagine. I know that I am not comfortable with a world that often feels out of balance and lacking in respect for so many living things. If we could spark the imagination of the masses to believe a different world is possible then I believe a new world could happen. A massive shift in consciousness would take place - oh the freedom!"
