"The world, our home, is a beautiful, scary place, made more so by our own actions. We have the potential to make our world the best of places, or the worst. We now face multiple crises across the globe. Only by working together, cooperatively, for the common good will we be able to overcome these problems. It will not be easy, nor should it be, no great change ever came about with ease. It will require hard work, deep thinking and commitment to the realisation of a better world for everyone. We are fearful of many things these days but we cannot let that fear control us. We are becoming more and more aware of the problems of the world, corruption, inequality and a general lack of respect for nature. If you can reach just one person with a message of hope, that is one more person aware of their responsibility in shaping our world. We all have that responsibility and the potential to fulfil it with dignity, humanity and grace. Here's to a better future and the action to make it so."
