"I am currently on my final year as a sustainability major at Paul Smiths College and as I read these principles there was simply no way I could not sign. This charter essentially formulates the basics behind how a sustainable global community would generally have to operate. Our current system only benefits a minority of people who continue to grow in power and wealth, but soon we will all realize the dependence on this path will only feed the downward spiral that has already begun. Change is needed, there is no doubt, and the acceptance of this charter is a step in the right direction."
