"I 'agreed' on point 8 because otherwise I couldn't sign this charter, but I fear it may be a little ambiguous regarding something concerning the way we look at science and technology (although I imagine the good interpretation might be implicit, but I want to point this out): science and technology are useful to mankind and can be the greatest tools to improve life on this planet for us and every other living being, tools for freedom indeed, only if and when they don't become god-like concepts, because we must admit that in our history they have ALSO been some of the basics on which our detachment from natural life (in our mind, soul and effective evolution) has taken place. We must find something else, like a counterbalance -which can NEVER be religion- to match their use for the common good. I hope I'm clear, english is not my mother tongue!"

"I'm from a middle class family in Ireland. I have been well off for the past 10 years of my life and have seen my parents work there arses off to get where they are now. They are both brilliant, commented and hard working people and maybe wouldn't have met if the industry they are in didn't exist. The only reason I'm doing what I love in college is because of these two people. I think this is the best thing to do for our plant and everything on it. It would save the hard working people of the world the hardship of working a job they rarely enjoy and focus on something they always wanted to do them selfs. Peace, Love and Happiness for all!!!"

"I have dreamed of this for so many years. I thought I was the only one! Every time I have talked to anyone about it I have gotten the "blonde" treatment in return: rolled eyes, glazed looks, jesting comments, mocking tones, & someone even said that they were sure I had bumped my head and was suffering permanent brain damage. But nevertheless I precede with conversing about the possibilities inherent in this approach to living. Seems so easily feasible to me. I am in constant creative motion & action. I LOVE to help, assist, design, transform, & create opportunities out of problems...I SO know I am not the only one, in fact I believe that many "me's" exist, and we are the types who would continue to use our days productively and creatively because we simply cannot not. Hence I can see that once people GET the concept it would seem like a no-brainer...we all do our own thing, do what comes naturally to us most days of our lives, and we trade with people who do differently than us.
