"The human race is the only "mammal" to go and find new regions to live in and populate there without concern for the environment and without concern to find an equilibrium. Look at a herd of deer, they migrate do to the changing of seasons and they have a mating season sometime in the spring. If left alone they will not over populate the area in which they live even if they have all the resources that could accommodate for it. So if you look at it this way, the human race actually acts more like a virus. invading new regions and mass populating those areas without concern for the impact it will cause on the environment."
