"My resentment for the inequities caused by modern western living is only matched by my inherent hope for mankind on this planet, whereby one day the earth will sustain and support all peoples, regardless of difference, without detriment to the macrocosm. In the words of one great mind and humanitarian, The trite objects of human efforts - possessions, outward success, and luxury - have always seemed to me contemptible. I pledge to proactively contribute to the non-violent, creative, world-wide struggle to expose and prevent inequality, world poverty, and global environmental destruction, and to focus awareness on the unjust relationship between the powerful and powerless worldwide; to debate and campaign for the radical changes necessary to meet the basic needs of all; and to bring to life the people, the ideas and the action required in the fight for global justice. njro "
